Adjoining our restaurant and the quiet calm of the outdoors is the Rupert & Rothschild tasting centre – an ambient space embodying an understated elegance. Custom-made French oak furniture and a selection of artworks from the Rupert Museum make for a fine and intriguing setting – an ideal base from which to enjoy a whole world of wine under one roof.
A tasting journey with us traverses some of the finest terroir the world over. Savour the chance to experience all three of our distinctive South African wines – the Baroness Nadine Chardonnay, Classique and Baron Edmond – as well as the Rupert & Rothschild Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then venture further afield with Champagne Barons de Rothschild from France’s Champagne region, and a selection of wines brought in from the Rothschild family’s premier estates in France, Argentina, New Zealand and Spain.
Elevate your tasting experience with an assortment of local cheeses or the Rothschild Fromage Selection, imported from Compagnie Fermière Edmond de Rothschild Heritage, based east of Paris. Handcrafted desserts are also available as sweeter accompaniments.
