Our wine advisors explore our wines with you, enabling one to make an informed purchasing decision and to understand the exceptional location and wines of Jordan Wine Estate. Unique by nature’s design, the Jordan slopes face the warmer North & West, as well as the cooler South & East aspects, with vineyards lying at altitudes between 160 and 410 m above sea level. With their proximity to both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, the vineyards benefit from coastal fog and cool breezes, ensuring purity and balance.

Timepiece “certified Heritage Vineyards” Wine Experience - R355
Timepiece celebrates the Jordan family heritage through individual bottlings of certified Jordan Estate single-vineyards, all older than 35 years. These vineyards have been certified as heritage vineyards by the Old Vine Project and we have created a range where a variety of old vine wines can be experienced from one property. Each vineyard undergoes a specific fermentation programme, often blended from different vessels to express the character of the site. Enjoy four wines from our oldest vineyards: Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Cabernet Sauvignon wine experience - R460
Stellenbosch is a world leader when it comes to Cabernet Sauvignon. This thick-skinned grape loves gravelly, granitic soils and warmer, well-drained sites. The building block of our North and West facing vineyards is 600-million-year-old granite, with the texture and structure of ripe, bold flavours being enhanced through barrel maturation. We have four wines based on Cabernet Sauvignon: The Long Fuse, Cobblers Hill, Timepiece and Sophia.
The Chardonnay wine experience - R305
Our unique location and cooler South-East-facing meso-climate allows us to produce various styles of world-class Chardonnay. Starting with the limited Blanc de Blancs Cap Classique to the elegantly styled Timepiece Chardonnay from our heritage vineyard. The tasting concludes with our two bolder and richer styles, the Barrel Fermented Chardonnay as well as the award-winning Nine Yards Chardonnay. Jordan is the most awarded producer of various styles of Chardonnay in South Africa.
The Estate Range wine tasting - R135
A seated, 45-minute tasting experience, exploring our premium quality wines from single varieties made in various styles. From fresh and vibrant white wines that can be enjoyed immediately, to impeccably crafted and structured red wine styles that reach their full potential when matured. The tasting fee includes four wines that can be selected from our current tasting list, encapsulating our sense of place.
