Whale Cottage Camps Bay is a Beach Villa with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean, and is just 500 meters from Camps Bay beach and 25 restaurants, including the well-known Blues, in Camps Bay.

Whale Cottage Camps Bay offers a panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean, with most of its rooms being seafacing. The occasional whales and dolphins can also be observed from the terrace. The dramatic Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head can also be seen from the guest house.

Whale Cottage Camps Bay has a sparkling pool, and offers secure parking on the property. It is safe to walk to the beachfront and restaurants by day and night.

All rooms have a bath/shower en suite, television, airconditioning, hairdryers, heated towel rails, electric blankets, tea/coffee tray and a CD player. Seafacing rooms open onto a terrace. Breakfast Buffets are enjoyed on the seafacing pool terrace. An Honesty Bar, and a tea/coffee tray, is available 24 hours a day.

Whale Cottage guests are welcome to use the hi-speed wireless internet facility at no charge, but we request that the usage
be of reasonable duration.

Our new Bay Suite consists of a double seafacing room with king bed, and a single mountainfacing room with single bed. It is ideal for a small family, or for three friends wishing to share. There is one bathroom, a kitchenette/lounge/dining room with flatscreen TV and seaview, and a small terrace in front of the main bedroom and lounge. It is not airconditioned. It has a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. It has its own entrance.

Camps Bay is a prestigious suburb of Cape Town, and is South Africa’s premier tourist accommodation destination. Its beach has been rated as a Top 10 Beach by the UK Sunday Times and voted as the Top Beach in South Africa by readers of the local Sunday Times.

Camps Bay is 30 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from the city centre and Table Mountain, 20 minutes from the V & A Waterfont, and close to premier golf courses. Camps Bay offers a wide range of activities, including shopping, walking, hiking, swimming, surfing, tennis, squash, cycling, as well as plays at the Theatre on the Bay.
