Lorden Lodge, is a 7 bedrooms with one self - catering unit, is set on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain in the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range that overlooks Somerset West near Cape Town.

Lorden Lodge offers all rooms with en-suite bathrooms comprising of shower, basin and toilet, tea/coffee making facilities and TV as well as superb views of Somerset West, False Bay, Gordon's Bay and the Strand, accommodation at it's very best.

There is ample secure parking and a beautiful swimming pool available to the guests.

A full hot and cold breakfast is served daily indoors and on the covered patio facing the swimming pool, if the weather permits.

Lorden Lodge, previously known as Ballyna House, is under new management since May 2008 and has undergone a revamp. From the covered patio and the pool there is a lovely view over the lush garden and the whole of False Bay.
We are centrally situated on North Ave which runs parallel to the Main Road in Somerset West. We are 10 minutes away from the N2 (Main highway between Cape Town and Hermanus and the Garden Route) and Somerset Mall, 15 minutes from Stellenbosch and the Winelands and within walking distance of the town of Somerset West. We are also 5 minutes away from the Lord Charles Hotel, and close to the Errinvale Golf Estate as well as 3 of the most beautiful wine estates namely Vergelegen, Lourensford and Morgenster.We also have the Helderberg nature reserve nearby and there are some stunning walks here. Best of all we are only 15 minutes away from the Strand beach and if the wind is too strong at the beach you can enjoy a leisurely swim in the pool or relax on the patio with a view overlooking the False Bay.
