5 Mountains Lodge is an exclusive, luxurious retreat set amongst beautiful gardens and vineyards and framed by majestic mountain scenery. Located near the peaceful town of Wellington, our accommodation sleeps up to 16 guests in either our luxurious Suite (which also doubles up as our Honeymoon Suite), or one of our stand-alone garden cottages, which are ideal for families.
With our idyllic and picturesque setting, 5 Mountains Lodge is also the perfect venue for weddings and functions and provides a peaceful environment for conferences and business meetings.
Light lunches and evening meals are available at the Lodge, as well as an extensive wine list, which includes 5 Mountains first ever vintage from our Chenin Blanc vineyard. Alternatively, high quality restaurants are plentiful in the surrounding area.
Our guests can combine sumptuous country living with sightseeing, wine tours, mountain biking, horse riding and walking, or simply relaxing by the pool and enjoying the hospitality from our warm and welcoming staff.

5 Mountains Lodge is located at the start of the historic Bain's Kloof Pass, claiming to be the oldest mountain pass in South Africa.
Our Suite, which is also our Honeymoon Suite, comprises of a king-size bed, ensuite Victorian style bathroom, and a separate dressing room. Designed to provide guests with a feeling of luxury and space, the Suite is simple elegance.
Double doors lead out to a private Courtyard Garden, which is ideal for relaxing and soaking up the ambience of 5 Mountains Lodge.
Our Garden Cottages are light and airy, and have a 'Provence' style elegance. Each Cottage has its own private veranda with stunning views over the vineyards to the mountains.
All our rooms are ensuite and are equipped with a mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities and air-conditioning / heating.
