Situated in our farm’s historic stable that dates as far back as 1767, the space abounds with original features like the cobble stone floor and wooden troughs that seamlessly complement contemporary, comfortable furniture, while historic photographs and custom blue Dutch tiles adorn thick centuries-old walls.
Meals are also served outdoors on the grassed terrace, offering a spectacular view of the Boland Mountains and surrounded by a charming garden.
Our menu is crafted with intention and inspired by the changing seasons. Much of what we serve is grown, raised, or produced on the estate or sourced from neighbouring farms. This ensures every plate carries the richness and freshness of the Cape countryside.
Our chefs draw from South African culinary heritage, adding a modern touch that surprises and delights. Expect hearty favourites elevated with seasonal flair, artisanal technique, and creative presentation.
Behind each dish is a team dedicated to excellence, from garden to kitchen. Led by our head chef Germaine Esau, the team combines experience, innovation, and respect for ingredients to create meals that are memorable and meaningful.
At the rear of our restaurant, a former fowl-house (fascinating to see!) offers an ideal space for private tastings, lunches, or dinners, accommodating approximately 12 guests at a time.
