Its wide veranda, contemporary open spaces, and stretched out lawn make Leopard's Leap a particularly suitable venue for a wide variety of functions. With its choice of function rooms, it is the ideal venue for family get-togethers, special celebrations and corporate functions.
Six different areas are available for events and functions - the Tasting Room, Private Tasting Room, Boardroom, Veranda, Kitchen with individual cooking stations and Demonstration Kitchen. For greater versatility, some areas can be interlinked with one another.
The Tasting Room has a large air-conditioned counter accommodating 28 guests. At four different tables, six more guests can be seated.
The Private Tasting Room is designed for formal and educational wine-tastings and has room for 20 guests.
The Boardroom is ideal for meetings and can accommodate up to 16 persons. It can be reserved for meetings or corporate tastings.
The Veranda, with a view of a large lawn leading to the Leopard's Leap vineyards, can accommodate 60 guests in a more informal seating arrangement. With its modern couches and lower tables, the veranda creates an inviting homely atmosphere. The entire veranda can be enclosed with glass for winter conditions and featuress roof heaters and a fireplace that creates a cosy atmosphere. Large fans, summer misting and the gentle Franschhoek breezes take care of unwanted warmth.
The Kitchen has 22 work stations for hands-on cooking classes. Classes are conducted by various local and international chefs, depending on the theme or occasion.
The Demonstration Kitchen is ideal for larger groups and can seat 58 comfortably around tables of different sizes. It features a demonstration bench, cameras and two TV screens that keep participants closely in touch with tutors' actions.
