Idiom Wedding Venue

The iconic architecture provides the perfect Cape winelands setting for an event. Old World classically styled Roman arches and stone clad porticos support a contemporary New World timber pavilion and concrete wine tasting cube. The 150 hectare property can be seen from far due to the distinctive mountain shape which is known as the Idiom Conical Peak. Idiom has earned its reputation as one of the most exceptional destinations for weddings and events in the Cape Winelands, catering for up to 120 people at our venue. Impeccably dressed tables, warm and hospitable staff and world class culinary creations by our team of chefs.

Idiom Restaurant & Terraces

The 100 seater main dining area in the restaurant offers a fusion of Italian & South African cuisine in a modern vernacular. The restaurant flaunts unique, panoramic views of the majestic Helderberg basin and the full expanse of the Cape Peninsula, from Table Mountain to Cape Point, with False Bay glistening in the foreground.

Arches Function Room & Downstairs Terrace

The Arches, named for its stone wall arched entrances and modern bar area, offer an exceptional backdrop for any occasion. Ideal for a wedding with exceptional cuisine and drinks service on hand, the room offers a blank canvas for the best wedding planners to decorate and create a completely tailored and unforgettable experience.
