If you enjoy good company and excellent wine, book your seat at one of the exclusive wine tastings at TOKARA Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic wine ambassadors will guide you through the different ranges of wines crafted at our estate.
It’s an opportunity to sample the XO Potstill Brandy or sip a glass of Telos, the pinnacle of our wines and one destined to define Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon.
Simply follow the stone-lined stairway up to the winery, where you’ll find our wine tasting lounge. It’s a beautiful, architecturally designed space with unrivalled views over False Bay to Table Mountain. Here you’ll also notice the fermentation cellar. Take a moment to check it out, and please do ask questions about the winemaking process.
At our tasting room, you can discover our different wine ranges:
- Premium Collection: Our Premium Collection consists of quality lifestyle wines best enjoyed with friends. We’ve taken our four signature grape varieites and blended across vineyard parcels to create smooth fruit-driven wines.
- Reserve Collection: Our sought-after and award-winning Reserve Collection consists of expressive and layered wines that showcase the unique attributes of terroir specific, single-vineyard offerings. They’re available in limited quantities and include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.
- Directors Reserve Collection: Our award-winning Directors Reserve range of wines focuses on Bordeaux-style blends. Handpicked from a single vineyard, it’s an elegant and layered range. It includes a barrel fermented white blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon and a classic Bordeaux-style red blend. Only the very best and most expressive parcels are used to create these iconic blends.
And while you inhale, swirl, sip and spit, don’t forget to try our delectable cheese platter and delicious olive oils.
