Our relaxed indoor and outdoor tasting area/tasting cellar is the perfect place to unwind.

Taste our range of wines on its own or paired with either chocolate , cheese or biltong. Enjoy a light lunch of chef specials and our sandwich of the day, or try our Hake and chips or one of our platters.

Cheese and wine pairing

Wine and cheese have gone hand in hand for many years but with today’s increasing options for both, the pairing choices can be confusing. The idea is to pair full-bodied wines with strong and flavourful cheeses. Wines with higher acidity go well with more creamy- style cheeses. Our pairing is a selection of five wines with five cheeses.

Crystal tasting

A selection of five wines from our Durbanville Hills ranges, Collectors Reserve range and Cellar door exclusive wines, this tasting could be a variety of bubbly, white wine and red wine.

Duration: 1 hour

Chocolate and wine pairing

Handcrafted in Knysna, these chocolates were created as the perfect companions for our wine. Using specially selected African cocoa beans, each complements the aroma, flavour and overall mouthfeel of the wine they are paired with. Our pairing is a selection of five wines with five artisan chocolates.

Biltong, dried fruit and wine pairing

Biltong is a type of cured meat ranging from beef and game to chicken and ostrich. Dried fruit is fruit from which the majority of the original water content has been removed either naturally or through sun drying. Both these are popular snacks in South Africa and can be enjoyed either with or without wine. Our pairing is a selection of five wines expertly paired with dried fruits and biltong

Collectors Reserve tasting experience

A private cellar tour, a unique Collectors Reserve interactive experience, a food and wine pairing with all seven Collectors Reserve wines as well as one bottle of Collectors Reserve to take home.
