Tasting Room
The Van Loveren tasting room offers a modern, expansive space where guests can enjoy wine tastings or a variety of curated wine pairing experiences. Choose between a relaxed tasting at our standing pods, comfortable lounge-style seating indoors, or a seat on the tasting deck overlooking the gardens and distant mountain views.
Guests can also create their own platter by selecting cheeses and charcuterie from our deli, with our friendly staff on hand to assist.
Visitors can join guided cellar or garden tours, or simply wander through the gardens at their leisure. Started by the founding matriarch of the Retief family, the garden commemorates family and historical milestones and today remains a peaceful oasis for guests to enjoy.
Wine and Food Pairings
Our tasting experiences include classic wine tastings and curated wine pairings, with flavourful combinations such as artisanal cheeses and handcrafted chocolates.
Families are warmly welcomed, with a special kiddies pairing platter that includes grape juice paired with a selection of sweet treats, ensuring younger guests can enjoy a fun and memorable tasting experience alongside the adults.
