Koedoeskloof is situated in the Dwarsrivier Valley which is 9kms from Ladismith on the Laingsburg road in a country setting overlooking the amazing Towerkop. This beautiful little valley is an agricultural paradise producing grapes, apricots, peaches and nuts.

A myriad of routes lead you here (gravel and tar), which are great for dual-sport motorcycling, mountain and quad biking. The area has various hiking and rock climbing trails. Bird life is abundant, and yet completely underestimated in its diversity.

Ladismith is on Route R62 which is the inland diversion to the busy N2 highway. It is 325kms from Cape Town, 300kms from Hermanus, 163kms from Mosselbay, 120kms from Stilbaai, 90kms from Oudtshoorn, 40kms from Calitzdorp and 152kms from George, which is also the nearest airport.

Take a drive through the Seweweekspoort with its towering rock formations and diversity of fauna and flora. Amble through the Hoeko Valley - the most scenic route in the Klein Karoo. You will pass the hiking trail to the legendary 'Oom Stanley se liggie'. Originally erected and lighted in 1963 it can still be seen at night 1 480m high against the Elandsberg mountain.

Back at the lodge you can relax and at leisure enjoy sundowners on the deck of our restaurant and observe the scenic beauty of the valley with its awesome backdrop. A choice of munchy homemade burgers is also available.

Undoubtedly you will leave Koedoeskloof feeling revived, refreshed and enriched with fond memories of your visit to one of best kept secrets of the Klein Karoo.
