Hope Restaurant at Diemersfontein in Wellington offers contemporary bistro food, carefully crafted by our team of chefs.

Our style of food draws inspiration from all over the world, inspired by South Africa’s unique heritage, we incorporate flavours, textures and styles to tease the palate and compliment Diemersfontein’s beautiful wines. Our team is eager to provide a warm and welcoming experience that has been enjoyed at the cellar for the last 13 years.

The Team is led by Dylan Smith, head chef and owner of The Cellar restaurant in Kwa-Zulu Natal that has successfully operated for 13 years. The dishes you experience at Hope have been tried and tested over the years and promise stacks of flavor and passion.

David Fouché, Hope’s head chef and general manager, runs all local operations with the love and passion that embodies our core ethos. David is a trained chef and worked at The Cellar restaurant under Dylan for some time and ensures that all of our high standards will be met.
