From October 2017 until May 2018, the restaurant is open for lunch seven days a week from 12h00 to 14h00 and for dinner from Mondays to Saturdays from 18h30 to 20h30.

The unique position of the cellar has been fully utilized by combining the cellar with a mountain restaurant serving superb cuisine to complement each individual wine, offering an exciting wine experience in Franschhoek.

The Haute Cabrière Restaurant gives guests the opportunity to taste the full spectrum of wine produced on the farm, Haute Cabrière and Pierre Jourdan. Chefs Nic van Wyk and Westley Muller offer a seasonal a la carte menu, as well as the tasting menu, The Marriage of Food and Wine, which showcases six courses paired with the range of wines. Windows overlook the maturation cellar below the restaurant, and the fireplace makes winters cozy and warm. Summer time sees guests enjoying the great views while dining al fresco.

Unusual art enlivens the atmosphere, as does the attention of competent and friendly staff.

Between May and September a Sunday Lunch Feast will showcase a bountiful menu, paired with Haute Cabrière and Pierre Jourdan wines.

Cost: R370pp including food and wine. Kids 12 and under R150. Please note Sunday lunch needs to be booked by 12h00 on Saturdays.
