The Oak & Vigne Café is a popular venue for wine tastings, special dinner evenings, art events and book launches. It has also become an ideal venue for intimate jazz shows.

The Oak & Vigne Café first opened its doors to the public on September 24, 1998. During this time it has been featured on TV shows such as PASELLA and Top Billing, and in various magazines and other publications.

During the summer months patrons gather on the three verandas – the front veranda under the oak trees where Edgar the pianist entertains the crowds, the veranda "on the Oak side", with tables under bright red umbrellas around the khoi pond, and the latest addition, the veranda "on the Vigne side", linking the Oak & Vigne and SCARLETT, "fine furniture and fine art gallery", the latest venture of the Oak & Vigne owners.

In winter, from very early in the morning, guests try and sit as close as possible to the large "both ends" fireplace, nursing their Hot Chocolate, Chai Spiced Tea or Café Latte.
