TOP OF THE HILL FUN WALK
Join us on this relaxing Fun Walk on the farm, to the oldest existing Pinotage block in the world!
Planted in April 1950, this vineyard block of the local grape varietal is now a magnificent 66 years old.
We will meet at 09h45 at the Tasting Venue. The Walk commence at 10h00, through the farm and the many rows of vineyards to the shade of the magnificent Wild old Fig Tree.
This is a landmark on the farm and based next to this very old vineyard block. Here we will take a short break, as this is the perfect spot to taste our flagship wine - Top of the Hill Pinotage 2013.
This wine was selected in an Italian book in 2015 as one of the “1001 Wines to Drink at Least Once in a Lifetime”
Included with the Top of the Hill Walk is a tasting of our range, a lovely selection of local cheeses and delights on the outside Terrace and a glass of DeWaal wine.
The next dates for the Fun Walk with Pieter is: Saturday 3 September 2016 | Saturday 8 October 2016 (International Pinotage Day) | Saturday 12 November 2016 | Saturday 3 December 2016.
