Green Weddings South Africa is a fully independent wedding co-ordination company owned by Kirsty Marmarellis & Beverly Brentnall. They offer years of experience in arranging weddings in South Africa. To date they have assisted with the planning of almost 1,000 weddings including the stunning celebrity wedding of Countess Victoria Spencer in Cape Town in 2005.
In 2008 after completing a life changing course at Cape Town’s MetaVarsity and wanting to compliment their philosophy on helping to change the world’s environment, they formed Green Weddings South Africa to offer for the first time eco-friendly and ethical weddings in South Africa.
Firstly as independent consultants our clients benefit from personal planning with the coordinator where each wedding is individual and tailored to the couples dream day. Our couples never have to fit in with a ready prepared package. And whether the ceremony is for the couple alone or for a large wedding of 100+ we give all our clients the same personal service for the perfect eco-chic day!
From the first contact through to the coordination on the day, you are our main priority in getting everything right and taking the stress away from the process of organizing a wedding at home or abroad.
Our research, experience and contacts in the industry allow us to negotiate preferential supplier rates across the whole ethical spectrum which we can then pass back to our clients. Our knowledge of everything South African allows us to offer the very best “green” locations and venues.
Many wedding planners cannot offer travel services to the bridal couple and their guests – we offer exceptional itineraries for honeymoons and those guests wishing to take a holiday after the wedding including the accommodation and transport (if required) for the wedding day.
For overseas bridal couples we keep in touch regularly via email and phone. In this way every request is acknowledged and completed to the couples’ satisfaction.
We form a close relationship through this contact which adds to the personal attention and feeling of security for our clients.
