Kaapzicht and the Steytler family invite you to hold your next function or ceremony at our venue

A holding / breaking deposit of R4 000 is required when booking your function date over and above the venue price. This deposit of R4 000 will be refunded within 10 days after your function if everything is in order.

Large Hall venue hire (capacity of ±250 guests with dancing): R16 500.
Small Hall venue hire (capacity of ±100 guests with dancing): R11 500.
Morning wedding service on the stoep service available (maximum 50 pax): ±R6 500.
Braai Lapa (capacity ±55 guests): Hires out for R4 500 inclusive of tables, chairs, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses. It has a music centre and bar within the lapa. Included in the price your caterer is able to make use of the small kitchen which has a stove and fridge. A refundable breakage/holding deposit of R2 500 is required.

Venue Hire will include the below:
tables and chairs | basic crockery, cutlery and glasses | DJ lights and mirror ball | wagons | cake table | bridal table | vat tables | buffet tables | use of the kitchen facilities | putting up tables and chairs | breaking down and cleaning of the hall

Option to use inhouse linen come with free setting of the tables service. If you choose to use outside caterers the responsibility falls to them

Draping: Done at costs varying from R3 000 - R3 500 with fairy lights.

Kaapzicht does not cater, although we do have kitchen facilities. We have a list of our preferred caterers which you could choose from and obtain menus and prices (contact us for details). Use of own caterers is allowed with a R1 000 surcharge for the use of the kitchen.

Your nominated caterer must provide all cooking utensils, black bags, cleaning aids, dish cloths etc. and ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy, including making sure that all crockery, cutlery and glasses are washed clean and dried. Breakages, missing items or kitchen left unclean will be deducted from the refundable deposit of R4 000 paid at booking.

Items available for hire such as bain maries, coffee machine, hot trays, tablecloths, chair covers etc can be selected from LIST (click to view). Help with décor and flowers service also available.

Cash Bar: A cash bar option available at a charge of R1 000. Option includes use of bar facilities, ice, glasses and one barman. Two barmen are normally advisable +100 guests. Our bar prices are very reasonable. Prices however do fluctuate from time to time. All WINES (click to download pricelist) must be bought from the Estate.
