Kaapzicht and the Steytler family invite you to hold your next function or ceremony at our venue

A holding / breaking deposit of R4000 is required when booking your function date over and above the venue price. This deposit of R4000 will be refunded within 10 days after your function if everything is in order.

The venue hire for our large hall (capacity of +- 250 guests with dancing) is R16500.

The venue hire for our smaller hall (capacity of +-100 guests with dancing) is R11 500.

The above venue prices (include the following):

tables and chairs | basic crockery, cutlery and glasses | DJ lights and mirror ball | wagons | cake table | bridal table | vat tables | buffet tables | use of the kitchen facilities | putting up tables and chairs | breaking down and cleaning of the hall

(If you are hiring my linen we will set the tables for you otherwise it is you or your caterer’s responsibility to set your tables)

We can drape the venues for between R3000 - R3500 with fairy lights. | We can also do morning weddings on the stoep (maximum 50 pax) +- R6500.00

Our braai lapa we hire out for R4500 inclusive of tables, chairs, basic crockery, cutlery and glasses (capacity +-55 guests). It has a music centre and bar within the lapa. Included in the price your caterer is able to make use of the small kitchen which has a stove and fridge. We also require a refundable breakage/holding deposit of R2500.

Kaapzicht does not cater, although we do have kitchen facilities. We have a list of our preferred caterers which you could choose from and obtain menus and prices. Should you use your own caterer there will be a R1000 surcharge for the use of the kitchen.

All cooking utensils, black bags, cleaning aids, dish cloths etc. Must be provided by your nominated caterer. Kitchen must be left in a clean and tidy state - all crockery, cutlery and glasses must be washed clean and dried. Any breakages or missing items or if the kitchen is not clean it will be deducted from the refundable deposit of R4000 received from you.

We do have hirage items available from the premises eg. bain maries, coffee machine, hot trays, table cloths, chair covers etc and I attach hereto a list. We can also help with décor and flowers.

We can run a cash bar for you, for a charge of R1000 which includes the bar facilities, ice, glasses and one barman. Two barmen are normally advisable if you are over 100 guests. Our bar prices are very reasonable. Prices however do fluctuate from time to time. All wines must be bought from the wine estate. Attach is a wine pricelist. (Our wine prices do increase on 1January each year). We also run specials throughout the year - prices of these specials are obtainable on request.
